Marlin Realty & Investments, Inc. is a family owned and operated business that brings years of real estate sales, development and building experience and expertise to the table.
Preston Boyles, President and REALTOR, received a Bachelor Degree from Florida State University and a Masters Degree from East Central University in Oklahoma. Preston grew up in the real estate business and has a strong background in site location, commercial and residential development, property management, and sales.
Preston also served as the Dean of Students for a college in Oklahoma where one of his tasks was to revitalize a non-profitable housing department. Within a two-year span he turned the department into a profitable enterprise for the college and increased the occupancy level by 30%.
Preston also served as consultant and advisor for several large development projects for the educational community in Oklahoma such as a $7.5 million dollar Student Union and a $6 million dollar student housing project. “I really enjoy seeing a project through from start to finish and knowing that I had a big part in the design, development and construction process,” states Preston. “I returned to the State of Florida because this is the best place in the country to be in the real estate business. The future and opportunities are almost unlimited. I know that with our background and experience, we can give our customers the kind of outstanding service that they deserve.”
Buck Boyles, Vice President and REALTOR, received a Bachelor Degree from Glenville State College and a Masters Degree from West Virginia University. Buck started his real estate career in 1975 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and through the years has managed multiple real estate offices and been directly involved in every phase of the real estate business from sales to development and construction.
Buck purchased sites and built stores for the Builders Square Division of the Kmart Corporation. “I traveled the State of Florida for many years looking for sites for Kmart so no one knows the state better than I do,” states Buck.
“I’ve been on both sides of the fence, as a Broker/salesman and as a builder/developer, which puts me in a good position to deal with both the home builder and commercial developer. I understand their business.”
Marilyn Boyles, Secretary/Treasurer, brings years of real estate office management to the company. Her expertise in advertising and promotion has proven to be invaluable to the company and our clients.
